Run4YourLives ("we," "us," or "our") is a registered 501(c)(3) nonprofit organization. We operate the Run4YourLives mobile application (the "App") and website located at www.run4yourlives.com (the "Site"), collectively referred to as the "Services."
Our mission is to support mental health through running, walking, and movement. The Services are provided free of charge to all users and are funded through nonprofit operations, donations, and grants.

Important: Run4YourLives is not a medical service, mental health treatment, or substitute for professional healthcare. The App provides general wellness support and motivational content only. Nothing in the App or on our website constitutes medical advice, diagnosis, or treatment.

You use the App and engage in physical activity entirely at your own risk. Run4YourLives is not liable for any injury, illness, or adverse outcome resulting from use of the App or participation in physical activity.
To use Run4YourLives, you must be at least 13 years of age. If you are between 13 and 18 years old, you should review these Terms with a parent or legal guardian before using the Services.
By using the Services, you represent and warrant that you meet the eligibility requirements and that all information you provide is accurate and truthful.

The live safety tracking beacon feature is provided as a personal safety tool. You agree to use it only for its intended purpose of sharing your location with trusted contacts during physical activity. You must not share the tracking link publicly or use it to track others without their consent.
When you submit a story, photo, video, or other content to our Community section, you represent and warrant that:
By submitting content to our Community section and agreeing to the submission consent, you grant Run4YourLives a non-exclusive, worldwide, royalty-free license to use, display, reproduce, modify for length and clarity, and distribute your content on the App, our website, and our social media channels for the purpose of furthering our nonprofit mission.
All submitted content is reviewed before publication. We reserve the right to decline, remove, or edit any submitted content at our sole discretion. We are not obligated to publish any submission.
Story submissions are voluntary. You will not receive financial compensation for submitted content. By submitting, you acknowledge this and agree that your contribution supports the Run4YourLives mission.
The Run4YourLives name, logo, App design, motivational cue content, collectible system, medals system, and all other original content within the Services are the intellectual property of Run4YourLives and are protected by applicable copyright, trademark, and other intellectual property laws.
You may not copy, reproduce, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from any part of our Services without our express written permission.
Nothing in these Terms transfers any intellectual property rights to you. You are granted a limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable license to use the App for personal, non-commercial purposes.
The App integrates with certain third-party services including Strava, Apple Health, Mapbox, and others. Your use of these integrations is subject to the terms and privacy policies of those third parties. We are not responsible for the practices of third-party services.
Connecting a third-party service is entirely optional. You can use the core features of Run4YourLives without any third-party integrations.
Run4YourLives uses GPS technology to track your runs and walks. GPS accuracy can vary based on device hardware, weather conditions, signal availability, and other factors. We do not warrant that GPS data will be accurate, complete, or error-free.
You acknowledge that GPS-based distance measurements may differ from actual distances traveled. Do not rely on the App's GPS data for any purpose where precision is safety-critical.
Run4YourLives is provided free of charge. The Services are provided on an "as is" and "as available" basis without warranties of any kind, either express or implied, including but not limited to warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.

We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your access to the Services at any time, with or without notice, for any reason including violation of these Terms. Upon termination, your right to use the Services ceases immediately.
We may update these Terms from time to time as the App evolves and our legal obligations change. When we make material changes, we will update the date at the top of this page and notify users through the App where appropriate.
Your continued use of the Services after any changes constitutes your acceptance of the updated Terms. If you do not agree to the updated Terms, you should stop using the Services.
These Terms shall be governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the United States and the state in which Run4YourLives is incorporated, without regard to conflict of law principles.
Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of the Services shall be resolved through good-faith negotiation. If negotiation fails, disputes shall be submitted to binding arbitration in accordance with the rules of the American Arbitration Association.
These Terms of Use, together with our Privacy Policy, constitute the entire agreement between you and Run4YourLives regarding your use of the Services and supersede all prior agreements and understandings.
If any provision of these Terms is found to be unenforceable, the remaining provisions will continue in full force and effect.
